Andy Degan, originally from Bristol CT, is an active singer and vocal arranger. He graduated from Central Connecticut State University with degrees in classical vocal performance and business management. Through his time at Central, Andy music directed CCSU’s all-male a cappella group Divisi as well as toured internationally with the University’s elite chamber ensemble. Over the summers, Andy performed with award winning A Cappella group Hyannis Sound and served as the musical director in his final summer.
Post graduation, Andy spent time on a Carnival Cruise ship fronting an 80’s and Motown band before moving to NYC. Over the course of two years in the city he was a part of A Cappella groups Blackout and Switch and professional choir Choral Chameleon. Over the holidays, Andy had the pleasure of singing with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in Indiana for their production of Yuletide as a featured ensemble member and got to work with Sandi Patty and The Voice winner Josh Kaufman among others.
Having relocated to Los Angeles at the start of 2017, Andy now sings with the professional touring a cappella group M-Pact, where he serves as both the tenor and as an arranger for the group. He also works as a session singer and with corporate bands across the greater LA area. Andy looks forward to all of the exciting musical opportunities that LA has to offer.
