Originally from Santa Rosa, CA, Jessica is an accomplished studio singer, performer and vocal arranger here in Los Angeles. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Jazz Studies in 2008, she spent the next five years recording and touring with vocals+electronics group ARORA (formerly Sonos), known for their unique use of effects pedals, looping, innovative indie covers and moving original vocal music. Appearances with ARORA include NBC’s The Sing Off, KCRW, NPR, Sundance, SXSW, TEDTalks and the X Games. As a soloist and studio singer, Jessica is grateful to have sung on several film scores, including Oblivion, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, Suicide Squad and this year’s upcoming films La La Land and Sing. She has also sung on TV shows Castle and The Voice, for companies Mattel, Disney, Coca-Cola, Ringing Brothers, and Hal Leonard, and has performed or recorded background vocals for Sergio Mendes, Sara Bareilles, Andrea Bocelli, Herb Alpert, Richard Carpenter, The Pet Shop Boys and more. When not in the studio, Jessica enjoys singing with the beautiful 26-voice chamber choir the LA Choral Lab, and an incredibly funky 12-piece event band called The Shrines. With her strongest roots in vocal jazz and group harmony, Jessica is always overjoyed to have the opportunity to work with and create music with so many incredibly talented singers and dear friends.
