Joe Santoni grew up Port Huron, Michigan, he was influenced musically primarily by his father, a radio show host who taught him about music as a whole. Influenced by his high school choir teacher, Joe attended Oakland University where he received a degree in vocal performance. During his studies he performed in 4 operas (Cosi Fan Tutte, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Gianni Schicchi and L’elisir d’amore) he also participated in 2 collegiate a cappella groups (Gold Vibrations and Oakordz). Since graduating he found himself pulled to the west coast in Los Angeles where he continues to pursue a career in voice. Soon after arriving he joined a A cappella group called Hunkappella where he was introduced to Michael Alfera, the musical director of the L.A. Choral lab which he was soon invited to join thereafter. Joe was invited to sing as part of “Hit List” an A cappella TV show expected to be launched in early 2018. Most recently, Joe auditioned and was accepted to be apart of Ben Bram’s Christmas A cappella group, Snowfall LA.
